How to QA the site with Jam

Step 1: Install the Jam extension

Get the browser extension by clicking the giant button on jam.dev.

Remember to pin the extension to your browser so it’s faster for future use!

When prompted, enter your email to create your account.

Now you’re ready to catch your first bug with Jam.

 

 

Step 2: Click on this LINK to join our team

It might ask you to sign in again. Visit https://jam.dev/team-invite/Hqj0k0T8kwJn to join.

 

 

Step 3: Capture bugs with Jam

Go to our website in its staging area: https://20f49b-a3.myshopify.com/

Click on the Jam icon in your browser.

Choose your screen recording method – screenshot or video. Then highlight the section you want to record.

Draft your bug report, you can draw or add text to the image itself.

 

Go to "Create a" and be sure to select "Déca Lighting" as a workspace:

Then click "Create & copy Link".

 

Your Jam is automatically saved (and you can always find it in the Jam dashboard at jam.dev), and the link will never expire (unless you explicitly delete the Jam).

 

 

Step 4: Check out your first Jam!

Your newly created Jam will open automatically in a new tab. Go check it out!
